Workshop 74

was born out of necessity for bespoke services in and around the small market town of Whitchurch, Hampshire.

While tinkering around in the workshop at weekends, people would pop their heads in to say hi, stop for a chat and generally make sure I had an unproductive day.

It soon became apparent there was a demand for minor furniture repairs and a market for individual, bespoke, objet d’art and pieces of furniture that didn’t come flat-packed and that endured past the end of the day! 

Spurred on by the realisation that I had a shared passion for fine quality, a love for gentle restoration and an insistence for attention to detail, I decided to take my hobby and enthusiasm to the next level.
