This very rare Centigrade Meter, is housed in a beautiful teak casing and dates from around the mid ’20’s.
Manufactured by the Foster Instruments Co. which was founded by Charles Foster after he left The Cambridge Scientific Company in 1910.
Used to record electrical temperature, the technical term for such an instrument is a ‘Pyrometer’.
