Originally an electric fan heater, this HMV “Beehive” design piece has been restored, rewired and converted into a stylish light. Made from Bakelite (top and louvres) and pressed steel (base and back), these were produced from around 1948 until the mid 1960s, and are a definite nod to the classic Art Deco styling from the 1920’s and 30’s. Measuring 35 cm wide, 26 cm tall and 25 cm deep with a flat back, ideal for standing in a fireplace, against a wall or just free style on the floor this lamp really is a feature in itself.
